Beyond Health is a dual diagnosis behavioral health agency that offers comprehensive

substance use treatment, mental health treatment, PRP services, housing and more to

Maryland communities. Beyond Health is committed to being a catalyst for healing for

sexual and gender minorities in Baltimore and the surrounding areas, while advocating for a

better quality of life for the local LGBTQIA community.

The motto of Beyond Health is “Beating Expectations to Your Oasis & New Dreams.” As

such, at Beyond Health, we assist with facilitating acceptance and understanding of the

disease of addiction, so that our patients can achieve the long-term recovery of their

dreams. Additionally, we offer mental health and PRP services to enhance and facilitate

improved mental wellness. By integrating clinical, medical, psychological and holistic

practices, we address all sides of drug addiction at several levels of care (2.5, 2.1, and 1.0)

for both children and adults, while navigating the nuances and complexities of treating those

that identify with the LGBTQIA community. Our expert, culturally-competent team provides

the tools and knowledge to guide our patients through the recovery process so that they can

enact and sustain positive life changes. By assisting our patients with critical needs such as

housing, medication management, obtaining available community entitlements and

resources, and a variety of additional services, we set ourselves apart by setting our

patients up for long term success.
